Transport

We will be providing transport from the church, after the wedding ceremony, to the reception at Oran Mor so all you need to do is get yourselves to the church on time!

A taxi from any of the hotels on our list will take approximately 30 minutes and should cost no more than £10 - £15. The receptionist at any of the hotels will arrange this for you. If you are travelling as a group of more than two, you may want to request a black cab as they are bigger than a private hire taxi and much more hat and kilt friendly!

The church is also conveniently located 2 minutes walk from Maxwell Park, Pollokshields West and Crossmyloof train stations from which all trains run too and from Central Station. For train times see: www.nationalrail.co.uk.

The area around the church is leafy and residential and is a very safe place to leave your car overnight should you wish to do that. There is plenty of on-street parking in the area.

At the end of the evening, there should be an abundance of taxis on the streets around Oran Mor, and there is also a taxi rank just a few minutes away on Queen Margaret Drive.
